FILM MAKING PORTFOLIO
My Scripts
I first fell in love with writing scripts during my time at Uni. Here's a few of the scripts I've written which I'm proud of from the last 3 or 4 years of writing.
THE FINAL FINAL GIRL
"Episode I - The Man, The Figure, and The Box"
"Slasher survivor and traumatised mother of two, Cassidy fights for her estranged families lives, after a possessive demon returns 30 years after she first released if from the depths off hell".

This was my dissertation artefact, which I wrote alongside my essay on the Final Girl in the Slasher genre. My aim for this script was to subvert the conventions of the slasher genre, by creating a more three-dimensional final girl.
It proved challenging to subvert a genre while simultaneously abiding by it's rules in order for it to still be recognisable within the genre, but I had a lot of fun experimenting with character tropes, as well as writing horror for the first time. I was very happy with my final draft of the script, and still am looking back on it.
Into The Wilderness
This was the largest scaled project I have worked on so far, seeing my script adapted to the screen and working alongside the director to bring my characters to life was a very gratifying experience.
This story is about a pair of newly acquainted step-brothers who go on an expedition to bond, much to one's chagrin.
She Who Cried The Tears of Blood
This was my first larger scale solo project, which I wrote, produced, directed, shot, and am currently editing.

The film follows Clarissa and her older brother Jasper who have been left home alone at a holiday home gardening onto the back of a grave yard. Where lies the body of a malevolent spirit who returns for revenge.
